About Belleville
- Belleville military boots have been in production since 1904, when Belleville Shoe commenced operations across the Mississippi River from St. Louis. Men's Belleville boots tend to run a full size too large. We recommend ordering a full size down. This means if you wear a size 10, you should order a size 9. Women's boots run true to size.
To determine your correct Belleville boot size, you can also use a Brannock Device to accurately measure the size and width of your foot. A Brannock Device is the metal measuring instrument found in most U.S. shoe stores.
All Belleville styles are available in men's sizes; however, we do offer many styles manufactured exclusively for women, also known as the Belleville "F" Series. If a style is not available in women's sizes, we suggest ordering the boot two full sizes smaller for women.
