Men's Propper Lightweight Tactical Pants

own a few pair of these...they wear well & stand up to all the stuff I throw at em' from working to hunting. They worked great sitting in a tree stand on a hot humid night huntin' wild boars.... If ya like a comfortable fit, great in hoit climate pant then this is it....& a great price too!

So far I like the design and the fit. They're very comfortable even with filled pockets. The size is perfect at the semi-elastic waistband combined with the belt provide extra utility towards keeping the pants from falling down. These are one of the few pants I don't have to repeatedly pull up. HOWEVER, I purchased these pants for the purpose of testing their breathability in desert conditions. I'm just in 80°F-90°F weather, and they don't breathe as well as I expected. They leave me with a sweaty waist even in a breeze which would make even walking down a street a bit of a bother. It could just be me, but if you're looking for hot/warm weather pants, I would shoot for 100% Ripstop cotton. It could be the polyester in these pants that's causing the issue, or maybe just me. Other than that, great pants thus far.

These are very good for hot and humid weather. I liked my first pair so much after a year that I ordered two more.

I wear them every day for work for over one year now-still look great, still feel great. Just cannot wear them out and my pockets are always loaded up.

And I am still wearing that pair. I have both regular and lightweight. The Teflon is great protections and as long as you follow washing instructions they will give you years of service. Took a count and I now own 13 pair in multi colors, mostly black and blue but Khaki is included. My only negative is the "coyote". There is absolutely no brown, nothing there but pure brass. Wish they came in a dark earth or dark brown.

I work as a contractor for the DoD and out of the 7 pairs I own, only one has "failed" me. The crotch ripped out and the left front pocket tore at the seam on the inside. Even though the crotch ripped out, the tear did not get worse and has held through a washing, which is how I found the rip and holes. I will get me some more in different colors once I return back from Afghanistan. Love the pockets. Khakis tend to show stains more often but what can one expect out here. Through blood, mud, dust, dirt, sweat and tears, these pants have done awesome. Thanks and take care.

I love everthing about these pants with one exception. The front pockets rip/tear after wearing just a few times. I carry a few keys and a pocket knife, nothing unusual, but the pockets won't last as long as Levis.

Best tactical pants I have ever owned. They are amazingly durable, will stand up to any test you put them to. They say stain proof and they are. Don't worry if it looks like they will stain because once you wash them it will be gone. They have every convenience you would need. Expanding waist for flexibility, reinforced where it counts, excellent pocket placement and extra wide belt loops. Definitely worth the money. All colors are true to picture and don't fade. The sizes listed are very accurate to the majority of pants. I wear a 36/32 in jeans, and ordered the same, they fit perfectly.

I don't wear jeans and my PLTP's are my pants of choice for every day (EDP). They look good enough to wear to church (wash-n-wear) and are durable enough to wear every day for every job. I bought two pair first and found that I really like them so I bought three more. They are a comfortable fit and the color holds well. The waist relaxes a little bit after several washings and the green isn't dark enough to suit me but, those two things won't stop me from buying more.

Ordered three of these in different colors from Siberia. My best everyday wear all year round. My friends also bought some on my recommendation. Gonna order some more. All given specifications are true and really advantageous. Very good choice for good price.

Best tac pants available. I've had many other brands, and these are top of the line by far. If they'd drop the belt and maybe $5, I'd just toss all my others and just buy more Proppers. The belt is cool on the first pair or two, but.... Get a size larger in waist and length (especially if you're riding a motorcycle with them) they will shrink a little. But not near as much as 5.11 TacLights. These haven't faded either, the TacLights fade so badly, I tried to re-dye one pair, but I just can't wear them to work after a few washes. I'd like to see some dark brown and dark grey. I'll not be bothering with other brands any more. I have other Propper pants (the old BDU style) that are about 20 years old and still look good.

Excellent Fit.. really good quality and a lot of pockets and space on them just like a like them.. I bought a 42x30 and they fit great. The stretchy hips are great for big guys like me... The shipping was as expected too... I probably order another pair...

I didn't buy these for the purpose of protection when on my bike, but I'm glad I was wearing them. I went down and took the hit on my knees. Both layers of the knee wear torn through but left me in pretty good shape. I'm positive if I had been wearing any other kind of pants that I wouldn't have walked away. I am just angry that they were brand new. I will be ordering more.

Very durable tactical pants. I've fallen, gotten scraped up, covered in blood, grease and these pants hold up. Plus they look good and they're comfortable. Very breathable and user friendly. I highly recommend a pair or three. I'm going to buy another pair to make hiking shorts out of...

I am a tall guy, around 6'3", so finding pants that I can wear around my waist without them riding up my leg is difficult. But these pants were available in several different inseam sizes and that was a huge benefit. currently own two pair and plan to add two more....these have become my EDP, every day pant. I have out them through a lot of abuse in the city and in the field. They have stood up well in all climates/ conditions. If your looking for a great all around, fuctional pant this should fit the bill for you....

I ordered this pants a the old price of $30. What a deal. Just the belt is worth $10. Super confortable. Well made. Great material. Not too baggy like other tactical pants. I am a 32" waist. The first 32" waste pair I ordered was a little tight after wash. Strange because polyester does not shrink. New pair I order 34" waist leaving me plenty of room and comfort. The pocket within a pocket in the back is a great design and works perfectly. Buy them!

These pants are just about indestructible. Lots of pockets to carry almost anything, including a BlackBerry. Practically unstainable too.

Few things in life are perfect, but these pants are just as close as you can come. Love all the pockets. Not sure I would trust the belt that comes with the pants to support the weight of a firearm. Plastic buckle is kind of cheap. Can't get over how cool they are on hot humid days. I use them for backpacking and backcountry rescue. Put closed cell foam pads in the knee pockets and you can crawl around anywhere. Size was dead on! I just ordered another pair a few days ago.

It's true what some people have said about these trousers that they are better than what they expected. Definitely a high quality pant with some extras like the nylon belt. I live in the tropic where the relative humidity is over 90% and at 90+ degrees Fahrenheit. These pants are great for this kind of hot and humid weather because they breath well, dry fast when they get wet (IF they get wet), light weight and they are not as hot as other cotton trousers. Nylon, Ripstop is the way to go. I have had military trousers of this materiel and by experience I know they will resist constant use. I bought them in all the colors and can combine them with shirt of other colors as well. So it looks like I am constantly changing my wardrobe. Great product. Highly recommended. For the price it beats the competition. Don't look nowhere else, get this one. Cheers...

Zip, button, snap, and turn your pants inside out before putting them in the wash. Put your detergent in the water and mix it well [before] putting your pants in the wash. Wash in cold water only. Do not use fabric softner as this will break down the Teflon fabric coating. Do not use stain removers, unless you have to, as this will break down the Teflon fabric coating. Do not put your pants in the dryer, hang dry them inside out.

I work maintenance in difficult locations CONUS and OCONUS. There has not been a single instance where these pants have let me down. From Key West to Nome these pants get the job done and can take any abuse you can dish out. Great Product

I bought these pants because of price and they looked nice. Once I put them on I was in love. They are super comfortable and the phone pocket fits my iphone with no problem. I even have the phone in a Magpul case and it still fits. I liked the pants so much I ordered 4 more!

These are great pants, hands down, they are worth every penny you pay for them. However, there is a small problem with some colors. I just ordered 2 pairs of grey pants ( they weren't grey at all, they are so light grey they looked almost silver, (They made me look like a martian, lol !). Also, the other colors like (coyote) I heard were off as well, one guy said they looked like brass. I'm really surprised they don't make these in dark grey (which are perfect and lighten up after a few washings ), they make their BDU's in that color and I love them. I also have several other pairs of these pants in black twill for winter and they're great. Propper needs to make these light weight pants in dark grey ! Otherwise if you have to wear black or blue they'll absorb the heat of the sun and be to hot in temps over 100 degrees. The khaki color shows up everything you get on them, not good for work. We want dark grey Propper, get busy !

THIS PANTS ARE SO NICE AND NEAT. THEY DONT EVEN FADE AWAY WHEN YOU WASH THEM.

I authored the review, "Great..until first use" I contacted TacticalPants.com and they IMMEDIATELY sent out a new pair of pants. These were perfect and the snap on this pair is riveted tight as a drum. I just got a pair that must have misfed into the snap machine. I'm on this site tonight to order more. Believe the outstanding reviews here and their other sites because these are great pants at great price. The belt is a useful, purpose built, durable bonus that I will use.
