About Magnum
- Springing from Hi-Tec Sports, Magnum's birth was a result of a request from the FBI for lightweight, athletic black tactical boots in the early 1980s. Ordered these boots for my husband because he needed a pair to wear riding motorcycles. His feet don't get cold and the boots are comfortable.

I had a pair of these boots, but unfortunatly at one point I had to follow a trail into a river where my boots were split from a barnacle, but they kept my feet dry until I was able to get out. I just re-ordered a new pair these are the best buy! They're tough, support your feet and hold a shine well. Don't use any others.

Have allways worn tactical boots, but never owned Magnum name brand boots before. My personal opinion of these are that they are extremely comfortable much more than any other boots I have owned in the past. They're tough to get on as they fit snug to your feet. The laces,however, were much too delicate and I had to replace those right away! They come up over my ankles and keep them cushioned and comfortable, but the top is uneven. The front of your leg is more protected than the back by about three inches, but it's ok. I have to make sure the boots I get are 100% for the job and will last me at least three years and am happy to say these fit the bill and are just that!
