bad soles

Pretty comfortable boot and the gore-tex is a plus. But the soles are already coming apart and I've only had them 2 months. I thought it was only me with this problem, but come to find out I'm not alone. The Zephyr boot was no match for Afghanistan. Bummed I spent almost $200 on a boot that lasted barely two months.

I bought these after going through 3 sets of military issue desert combat boots that were either ill-fitting or too hot while in Iraq. These boots survived last summer in Iraq, and it was like wearing cross trainers! The only negative is that the soles can get very slick if you step in oil or hydraulic fluid, especially if you are on top of an aircraft pre-flighting.

I've been training for a cross country race and have problems with my feet. I bought a pair of these boots and never looked back since putting them on my feet from the box. No more sore feet and I like the extra support around my ankle. After experiencing these boots, there is no other all purpose boot for me.
