These are extremely comfortable to wear, and are lightweight. They seem to be wearing quite well in rough conditions. I like the side zippers very much, and they make it easy to get on and off with little effort. I wear these every day at work.

This is my 2nd pair. These are very comfortable to stand long periods in. Very easy to get on and off due to the side zipper. My ankles swell up throughout the day. So getting these off is very easy. They usually only last about a 6 to 8 months. But they are so comfortable I keep buying them. Very good traction on the ice too. The soles on my first pair was the first to go.

I have a wide foot and this shoe worked very well. I wear this shoe to work everyday.

I live in New York City. When it snows in the City is a real odyssey to walk around with all the ice water puddles and pools in the corners, ice in the sidewalks well you name the condition we got it. I need it a boot that can handle all these wet, cold, slippery condition and laugh about it (if it could laugh), while keeping you warm, dry and comfortable. I found it on this boot. I purposely walked into a pool of icy water up to my ankles, stood there while the light change and to my surprise my feet were dry all day. Not a single drop of water. Also I have big feet (13EEE) so I do have a hard time finding my size in a fashionable-urban New York City Boot. Originally, I order them 14 since I didn't know if the boot run small or narrow. To my surprise the boot is "true to fit"; so I am going to order another pair in my real size 13EEE. I finally found my boot. Bates. Go get them.

I have a pair for work and a pair for doing chores. They are lightweight and I have no problem chasing suspects in them. The side zipper gives a snug fit. The shoes also clean up really nice for inspection.
