The Remora is the newest and smallest member of the Gearslinger line, designed to be light weight and comfortable yet, like all Maxpedition products, loaded with features and attachment points. Both the main and rear compartments have loop fields for attaching internal CCW accessories. Shoulder strap is ambidextrous and concealable.

Practical, tough-looking murse
Customer Rating
I love Maxpedition gear and this one is another winner. The size is perfect to carry essentials like wallet, sunglasses, multi-tool, small notepad and pen and a surefire flashlight. If you like outside carry, the back pocket fits just about any 9mm weapon nicely, although concealment may not be total for some models. The only thing I wish they added is a shoulder pad on the strap. Other than that, nobody is going to call you a wuss if you pick this as your man-bag of choice. Even in Europe, where carrying a bag is the norm for men, this little gem looks great. Of course, the weapon concealment pocket is useless in the continent where only some cops can carry, but the space can be used for maps.
The Remora

I've been using the Remora for a little over a month now for EDC use. For its size/category it works perfect for my minimum EDC gear requirements (Compact CCW, Fenix LD20 Flashlight, Surge multi-tool, level 1 first aid kit). Due to its size limits I can't squeeze much more in it though and I would not personally consider or recommend it for a "day-hike" pack. I am very pleased with the product, it's durable and made of quality material. I also appreciate the overall design in that it has the look and feel of a "guy bag" but doesn't appear too conspicuous to stand out as a "tactical" bag. You can sling this pack over your shoulder or back and you truly don't stand out in a crowd. I am however considering upgrading to the Luanda to gain a little more in size but have no complaints about the Remora.
This bag is the tops!

Best gear bag for a MAN!
Customer Rating
I have to say that I carry concealed, and determined the main reason i purchased this everyday bag. It has enough compartments to store stuff on an "as needed basis" meaning stuff you access quite a bit, the front 2 pockets are easy to get into, and the stuff you just keep with you can go in the big one and accessed as needed.
The concealed carry holster, an option you need to purchase separately if you plan on carrying, is an ingenious little piece of velcro that adjusts to hold any size firearm from 22- 45 discreetly.
The material is all ripstop, and I have never had an issue with tearing or zipper malfunction, however the little ties that come in the zippers tend to come un-tied sometimes, but its no big deal.
The bag is an over the shoulder cross carry bag that adjusts from tight enough to run with to loose enough to carry everyday.
Its this man's man-bag of choice!
Great Maxpedition Bag Per Usual
Customer Rating
I love Maxpedition gear and would always recommend it to anyone looking for high quality tactical bags. This little guy is a very nice EDC bag. Little on the expensive side, but again, if you know Maxpedition quality some would argue it's totally worth it. I have several Maxpedition bags and this one, like the others, is very cool, very solid, and well organized. It could use a few extra compartments but it is a pretty small bag and you can only cram so many compartments in such a small package. All in all though it's a great bag.
