Genuine Gear BDUs are manufactured to the same standards as Propper's regular BDUs and are available at a lower price. These BDUs feature a zipper fly, six pockets (four with button flaps), double reinforced seat and knees, adjustable waist tabs, nylon drawstring leg closures and felled outseam, inseam and seat seam. The trousers are made from a mix of 65% polyester, 35% cotton twill with an all-season weight. The fabric is durable, comfortable and will not fade or shrink.

i am in law enforcement i saw these pants at the uniform shop and said lets try them out the thing i like best is at the bottom of the pants i can tie the strings to fit tight over my boots and dont have to worry about them when i am running great pants at a great price

I bought these for wet wading while fishing and hiking through saw grass. They have worked out great and are holding up to my abuse. My only concern is that the belt loops are a little flimsy, but for the price I can deal with it.

for 24 bucks I am not complaining. I've had a pair for 4 years, and they last forever. I work in a factory that requires me to operate machine, get down on knees (alot) and my clothes always snag on screws and bolts. However these pant just never wear out.
The pant is only as good as it's weakest link

When I got these pants for my son I thought oh good these will last him "forever". They are nicely reinforced at the knees and seat. Then after some time (sorry I don't know how long maybe a year) the adjustable waist tabs have frayed and worn very thin to the point of not being able to adjust them. I'm talking a single layer of 12 threads Thin. He still wears them and likes them but we are disappointed with that adjustable waist feature.
